Kevin & Brenda

We arrived Malacca close to dinner time and went on the usual tourist route =)

We walked the length of Jonker Street, played around with fun shots...

...and found time between touring to take photos of Kevin & Brenda.

It rained the next morning, but we were not deterred ;-)

It's great to have friends with you on a shoot. If you look closely, you'll see three tiny spots in the photo...

Perrine and Lizzie were blowing bubbles and Andrew was trying to fan it down, hoping it'll end up near Kevin & Brenda, and be in the photo ;-p Not an easy task as the bubbles floated upwards!

We were delighted to discover this lovely corridor...

The morning rain brought along with it the cool breeze, which we were extremely thankful for when we went outdoors =)

Kevin was really strong! He carried Brenda for quite a while, maintaining the same smile, while I snapped away =p

Finally!!! Some bubbles making it into the frame =)

Brenda with her "manja" look ;-)

Was a great weekend away! Here's another fun shot of the lot! ;-)

Little Caycc

In November 2008, Caycc was still in her mummy's tummy. Today, she's an active little baby who has just learnt to sit =) So....time for her first photoshoot!

Babies are soooooooooo adorable and great to photograph. They smile, laugh and look cute in front of the camera with absolutely no effort, and no worry about whether or not they look good on camera, which is great! =)

First few snaps of her...she had this "who are you?" look =O

After that...she just let me snap away...haha..

Getting sleepy...

Having fun with mummy =)

Hi there!

Oi!! Who turned off the lights???!!

Time to change clothes sweetie...

In Caycc's mouth...a rubber duck!

We couldn't get her to part with her rubber duck!

Time for food...

Ahh....what a life!

Verdict on mummy's cooking?

It’s a “Thumbs up”! ;-)

Alvin & Jaclyn - continued celebrations

Alvin & Jaclyn continued their wedding celebrations the following Saturday, same time, same place, for their parents to share their joy with their friends. It almost felt like deja vu as I walked into the dinner venue.

At first glance, everything seemed the same, BUT...

...this week saw a band with a saxophonist.

...who ushered the couple into the dinner venue...

...through a rain of confetti.

It was also a more relaxed atmosphere for the couple as their parents played host =)

They cut the cake...

...poured "champagne"...

....and enjoyed each other's company =)

This week....they danced =)

And soon...the parents, and others, joined in as well, which was sweet =)

The "yum seng" session was really lifely! These "older" folks really know how to party!

It is heart-warming to see long-time friends gather together. I guess, when I get older, I will probably be having reunion with my old friends during their kids' weddings as well ;-)

Here's to a fantastic journey in marriage together!

Alvin & Jaclyn

I must start this post by saying that I thought Alvin was a really sweet groom. In Chinese, we say "sai sum". I thought he took care of his bride very well throughout the wedding =)

Now, the day started really really early for the bride. With the makeup scheduled for 5am, she was up by 4.30am!! By the time she was almost ready, the sun was just about to rise =)

Ooh...looks like a delicate procedure doesn't it!

Yes!! "We did it!!" ;-)

Congratulations, both of you! =)

Beautiful lace on the gown.

So many colours!!

I thought she looked beautiful =)

Seeing her for the first time in her gown =)

Pr. Chris delivered quite a funny message that...

...included the role of the bridesmaid...

...and the best man.

Drum roll.....

The kiss.

Appreciating the parents.

Hoi Hian & Debbie - Pre-wedding

Two people, very dear to me, are getting married tomorrow. I am feeling a whole host of emotions, mainly excitement, in anticipation of their holy matrimony.

Debbie, Hoi Hian, I love you both! I wish you all of God's richest blessing upon your marriage. Hugsss!!
